At AdvertiseIQ ("we," "our," or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide

• Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing information.
• Amazon Seller Data: Campaign data, advertising performance metrics, product catalog information, and inventory levels (only with your explicit authorization).
• Communication Data: Any information you provide when contacting our support team.

b. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: How you interact with our platform, features used, and preferences.
• Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
• Cookies: Essential cookies are required for authentication, session management, and security. Optional analytics cookies help us improve our services.

c. Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) Data Amazon Selling Partner API Data Handling

• Scope: If you authorize our Services to access your Amazon Seller or Vendor Central account, we retrieve store metadata, product details, inventory levels, order data, and advertising campaign metrics via Amazon's Selling Partner API.
• Purpose Limitation: Amazon Selling Partner Data is accessed only to provide features explicitly requested by the seller, including automated campaign automation, inventory monitoring, reporting, keyword analysis, and optimization recommendations.
• OAuth Credentials & Tokens: OAuth refresh tokens and access credentials obtained through Amazon Login with Amazon (LWA) are encrypted at rest, access-controlled, and used solely for authenticating API requests on behalf of the authorized seller.
• Strict 30-Day Retention & Secure Deletion: In compliance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy, we retain Amazon Selling Partner Data (including any personally identifiable information) for no more than 30 days from the date of retrieval, unless a longer retention period is explicitly required by law (such as for tax or regulatory auditing purposes). Upon account closure or revocation of authorization, Amazon Selling Partner Data is securely deleted from production systems within 30 days. Backup copies are deleted according to our backup retention schedule and are not used for operational purposes.
• Access Revocation: Sellers may revoke AdvertiseIQ's access at any time from Amazon Seller Central. Upon revocation, we immediately stop requesting new Amazon data and delete retained Amazon Selling Partner data in accordance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Services: To deliver, personalize, and improve our advertising automation platform.
• Optimize Campaigns: Automated bid optimization and machine-learning-assisted campaign management rely on your Amazon advertising data.
• Communicate: To send service updates, security alerts, and occasional marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).
• Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

a. Processing and Security of Amazon Data Secure

• Amazon Data Isolation: Amazon Selling Partner Data belonging to one seller is never accessible to another customer. Each customer's data is logically isolated and protected using strict access controls. We maintain zero aggregation or leakage across accounts.
• Security Controls: All Amazon data is protected using comprehensive technical controls, including transit encryption (using HTTPS/TLS 1.2 or higher), storage encryption at rest (using industry-standard AES-256 encryption), role-based access control (RBAC), audit logging, multi-factor authentication (MFA) for administrative accounts, regular security monitoring, and secure key management.
• Least Privilege Access: Employees and contractors are granted access to Amazon Selling Partner Data only when necessary to perform their job responsibilities and under the principle of least privilege.
• No External Sharing or Sale: We do not sell, rent, lease, or license Amazon Selling Partner Data to third parties. We do not use Amazon Selling Partner Data for marketing, targeted advertising, or consumer profiling.
• Incident Notification: In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting Amazon Selling Partner Data, AdvertiseIQ will promptly investigate, mitigate the incident, and notify Amazon and affected customers when required by applicable law or Amazon policies.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following limited cases:

• Service Processors: We may use trusted subprocessors for cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, and application monitoring. These providers process data only under our instructions and are contractually obligated to protect it.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AdvertiseIQ, our users, or others.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Data Security

We implement strict security measures, including HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, regular vulnerability assessments, and multi-factor authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. We may retain certain data for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes. Amazon Selling Partner Data is retained and deleted as described in Section 1(c) above.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data Portability – receive your data in a structured format.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
